The much anticipated casting and auditions process for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" is almost underway in Los Angeles, Baton Rouge, and Vancouver - on the heels of the world premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”, which took place in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 24th.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be released as two separate movies, Breaking Dawn Part I has a release date of November 18, 2011, and a possible summer 2012 release for Breaking Dawn Part II is being considered. Director Bill Condon will shoot the two films back to back.
Breaking Dawn II will be released in 3-D, however no decision has been announced about Part I. A 3-D film can be created in two ways. One is to process the film in post-production editing using CGI for 3-D effects. The other method is to shoot the film with special 3D cameras, such as the film Avatar was done using Sony HDC-F950 3-D cameras. It is not known which method Condon will use, but it is highly likely he will shoot using the special 3-D cameras since the effects are far superior.
Filming begins November 2010, and shooting will take place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver, British Columbia. There is a very large amount of filming that takes place in Louisiana due to the large tax credits that the state offers the studios. Louisiana offers a 30% transferable incentive for total in-state expenditures related to the production of a motion picture. The budget on both parts of Breaking Dawn will be substantially greater than the previous installments in the series, therefore Summit Entertainment will benefit greatly by filming in Louisiana. Vancouver shooting will likely consist of locations required for a number of Breaking Dawn settings.

Man, to be an extra or anything else for auditioning in ANY movie, ntm, Breaking Dawn, is absolutely.................................there are NO words. Movies are apart of my life and my life is about movies, expression, showmanship and "life" I would love to be an actress b/c I just love to "be" someone else and what other perfect way is there to fullfill that other than acting - - - Nothing! Such a rush, it's almost "dangerous" So Amazing; and there's so much fullfillment, sometimes it feels like you just can't breathe. To not want to be apart of that madness IS pure madness and if I am "mad" to want it SO bad that it hurts, then I'm the perfect candidate.

hey, I saw that you took the info down cuz people were calling the casting director. I didn't call them but I sent a coverletter, headshot & resume using the address you posted before you took it down. That is okay since I didn't call them right? I followed the directions. I am a bit older then the other people who have been leaving messages and have been acting for a while and use your page often, but this is the first time you have taken the information down after only like 2 days. You guys how do you know if AMB is allowed to give you the casting stuff? It's not her/his information to give, if it were an open call that maybe different but in acting if you miss a chance then you miss a chance. I think ALAN would have to give the okay for AMB to email you but since that was posted on the web if you google search it someone else may have it posted too. Good luck, and AMB I wouldn't send them anything unless ALAN says you can.

Casting director aren't going to look at you for a character that is going to look like she is the same age as the cullen kids. no offense but the denali sisters are depicted to seem like they could be in highschool or maybe just started college, so they probably look a little more mature than a 14 year old. No offense but I don't know many 14 year olds who can pull off the look of a succubus, which is how the denali sisters are discribed...female temptresses. Sorry dears, maybe maggie from the irish coven?

I don't know how I missed the mailing address - I looked nearly every day. If someone would please send me the name/address of the casting director.
