The Board of Supervisors votes today on whether to authorize the budget analyst to explore how The City could own its own Internet wireless network.
Supervisor Jake McGoldrick has requested the study as The City is expected to conclude by the end of the year negotiations with Google-Earthlink to build and operate a Wi-Fi network for San Francisco.
The Board of Supervisors meets at 2 p.m., in City Hall, Room 250.
A Board of Supervisors committee will vote Wednesday on a handful of ordinance amendments necessary for approval of the Trinity Plaza development.
Approved by the Planning Commission, the development includes 1,900 rental apartments at Market and Eighth streets.
The Land Use and Economic Development Committee meets Wednesday, 1 p.m., at City Hall, Room 263.
Three more cellular panel antennas may be put on a church steeple near San Francisco State University, the Planning Commission unanimously decided Thursday.
Temple United Methodist Church already has nine such antennas on its steeple.
