Harford County (Map, News) - The bones and skull found in a duffel bag in Jarrettsville in Harford this past week were determined to be innocuous by the Office of the State Medical Examiner on Tuesday.

Experts said the skull, pelvis, arm bone and leg bone found inside an old chicken coop were meant as teaching tools and were not indicative of any foul play.

Workers cleaning out the property on Rock Ridge Road discovered the bones.

Sheriff's office spokesman Sgt. David Betz said a stamp or writing was visible but not readable on some of the bones, so police were awaiting the medical examiner's ruling before deciding the bag of bones was not a homicide.
