The Mexican navy's tall ship, Cuauhtemoc, departs Baltimore's Inner Harbor on Tuesday.

BALTIMORE (Map, News) - Baltimore bid farewell Tuesday morning to the Cuauhtemoc, the training tall ship for the Mexican navy.
She was here for 4 days for tours, events and as an ambassador for the Mexican Navy.
The Cuauhtemoc is named for the last Aztec emperor who was imprisoned and executed by the conquistador, Herman Cortes, in 1525 .
Built in the Celaya shipyards (Bilbao, Spain) and launched in July 1982, she was the last of four windjammers built by Bilbaol shipyards.
Scheduled to arrive May 24 is the Corwith Cramer, a 134-foot Brigantine from Massachusetts.
