Baltimore police: Homicide victim ‘left’ at hospital

BALTIMORE (Map, News) - Baltimore City police are searching for clues in the stabbing death of a man they said was left in a wheelchair outside Shock Trauma early Sunday morning.

An unidentified woman brought 27-year-old Timothy Swann to University of Maryland Shock Trauma hospital on South Green Street just after 2 a.m. Sunday, said police department spokesman Det. Donny Moses. She put him in a wheelchair outside emergency room doors, then left.

“She left the scene before police could get there,” Moses said. “We don’t know when and where it happened.”

Swann, whose last known address was the 1300-block of Wildwood Parkway, suffered a stab wound to the left side of his neck, Moses said. He was pronounced dead just before 2:40 a.m.
