I see the future and saw the event long before it happened. This event was caused by great interest in the patriot act so toward the unification of a large financial system. The act was perpatrated by the USA against itself. George you OIL WHORE. I curse the state of texas. Greed an money and power. I have seen what most humans dont believe exsits. This "Death Meter" that is being constantly run by the AP and regurgitated by The Examiner, is a blatant left wing mind control tool designed to continually agitate anti-war, anti-Bush and anti-American hatred. And it works. What it doesn't do, though, is address the reason that we fight this enemy. Yes, one American death in Iraq or Afghanistan is horrific. 3000+ deaths in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania are absolutely unacceptable. The enemy we're fighting don't really care what country they base themselves in. They are in the U.S. also. We are finally at a point where the troop surge is showing positive results. This is rarely reported in the media compared to the constant death count mantra. Any success is reported as an afterthought or followed by a lame doom and gloom attempt. The posting by 'beetle' seems to say it best.

Atta' way, Examiner Reader! That's the good old 'can-do' American spirit! Good thing we didn't have defeatist quitters like you around during WWII. I guess there were those of weak conviction that agreed with Tokyo Rose. God, what a weak spined bunch of appeasers we have in this country.

Ex jarhead says 60,000 KIAs in Nam and only 4,000 KIAs in Shrubs war. But he doesn't mention that medical technology has advanced since the 70's, so that instead of having 90,000 dead from Shrubs war, we just have 85,000 missing arms, legs or other body parts. Ex jarhead should get off Shrubs koolaid, and start standing up for his fellow vets. Invading Iraq isn't defending America. We lost in Vietnam and we will lose in Iraq for the same reason.

WW1 KIAs 116,708 over 2 years, WW2 KIAs 416,800 over 4 years, Korea KIAs 400,000 over 3 years, Vietnam KIAs 60,000 over 10 years, Gulf War KIAs 358 over two months, War on Terror less than 4,000 KIAs on three separate continents over 4 years of combat. I think were doing very well in this war. Despite the medias obvios opposition. I sincerely hope they dont think were all drinking the kool aid

In order to prove the point that all war is wrong we will continue to see the kill total because it is morbid and will add to hysterical irrational behavoir here in the US. After Iraq a call will be put forward from Democrats, once again, to pull out of Afghanistan. Watch the news and you will see the media reporting the kill total for Afghanistan as well. We need to talk to Bin Laden and ask him how we can settle this in a peaceful manner. I forgot Bush set up Bin Laden in order to get oil and money.
