Rep. Ike Skelton endorses Clinton

WASHINGTON (Map, News) - Rep. Ike Skelton is backing Hillary Clinton for president.

The Missouri Democrat says he's supporting Clinton because of her support in rural America, her commitment to national security and her dedication to U.S. troops.

Skelton is the last of Missouri's four Democrats in Congress to make a presidential endorsement.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver also backs Clinton. Reps. William Lacy Clay and Russ Carnahan have endorsed Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

Thank you Ike for endorsing HRC. We don't need 'lack of experience' in the White House. America needs someone who will FIGHT FOR EVERYONE...not just some.

Isn't Missouri the "show Me State"? Guess Ike Skelton is visually and hearing impaired. I can't believe he fell for "Rural Shrillary." Mattel could come up with a whole series of dolls (like Barbie) to show Shrillary's different faces. This endorsement helps Obama--a lot.

How many superdelegates have seen the footage of Clinton that incriminates her in California in Peter Paul vs. Clinton? She should serve time behind bars. Her criminal activity is clearly captured on video and tapings with plenty of witnesses and I doubt Paul can be bought after how he was left to rot in a prison to keep her image clean. This is way, way bigger than Obama having to distance himself from Wright. She can only distance herself if she is above the law... perhaps that's what's behind her desperate run for the presidency... After all the Bush and Clinton years to date, our democracy is sorely falling apart, full of political privilege and illegal actions against the people's voice .... how ironic a half white/half black man is the only candidate who will restore the democratic process to our nation.

Not everyone in Missouri is racist. I'm not. I wonder what Skelton (and Cleaver for that matter) are being promised by Clinton. She's a wretched person.

Is this the very same Rep Skelton who ISN"T INVESTIGATING the propaganda machine the White House and the DOD/Pentagon created with 75 retired military professionals parroting White House talking points about how were turning corners and winning in Iraq and saber rattling about Iran on TV and radio? THAT Ike Skelton. I'm another step closer to voting for Obama. Ike is exactly the kind of Rep. we need to get rid of.

Hillary's exact quote re: Iran: "I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president we will attack Iran. In the next ten years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them." Whether she follows through on her obliteration threat or not, her war-mongering language is hardly conducive to avoiding wars. The American press (of course) did no reporting on the alarmed reaction this remark got from governments in both Europe and the Middle East. Methinks she feels the need to prove she's got some big cohones in her pantsuit. Didn't we just go through eight disastrous years of chest-thumping with the Republicans?

Makes sense that he would. We have to fix our army and as an Operations/Project Manager I believe that Hillary will be a 5 Star CEO. Which is exactly what we need today after the Republicans have destroyed the institutions that the American Electorate Pays to Protect it's interests. From FEMA to the EPA, and Hillary will rebuild the Middle Class which just so happens to tbe the largest customer of the Capitalist World. Obama has a situation comedy of the job the the President but should be the new head of the Democratic Party if people think he is brining more people in or learn of the job What Hillary learned from 8 years in The West Wing and Senator of Ground Zero and state with the largest population in the nation. I think Hillary is bringing many people in too. As one who is Media Trained, seen 29 Obama stump speeches and 33 of Hillary's(and every debage on both sides) I think Hillary is the Best human being of them alll and would now trust her with my life.

And on and on the imbecility against Hillary, claiming she's calling to "obliterate Iran." Hillary said, and I paraphrase, that if "...Iran were to launch a nuclear attack against Israel, or others, we could obliterate Iran." She absolutely never called, simply, for the obliteration of Iran. But once a fool, always a fool.

Ike Skelton has been a loyal, hard-working, honest Democrat since at least 1977... more importantly, he is a MODERATE Democrat who has been able to consistently WIN in a swing state, and he is clearly endorsing Hill because he knows what it takes to win and Obama doesn't have it.

Yay, another old white guy for Hillary. I wonder how he squares Hillary's "dedication to the troops" with her promise to "obliterate Iran." I love people who support the troops by stirring up new wars to send them off to. And beats me why rural folks feel close to her...must be all that duck-hunting she did with her pa.
