SAN FRANCISCO (Map, News) - A man died at an area hospital after being shot Tuesday night in San Francisco's Bayview-Hunters Point District, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 10:15 p.m. and occurred in the 1000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue. The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made and an investigation into the shooting is underway.

The thing about it is that the news doesn't tell the complete story. Also, the family always tries to paint a picture that the "victim" wouldn't hurt a fly and that they were the nicest person you would ever meet. But in reality their child is a killer and that they knew that they were in trouble. In this case the killer was completely wrong. But, if you want to avoid violence you shouldn't provoke someone, especially if you have 2 kids in the car.

I am in total shock. The Bolognas were such a nice family. Alll my prayers are with them. And the other son, who wasnt involved in this incident, had just graduated. I saw them all at graduation, together, they were all so happy. I can't beileve people would do so much just because of a dirty look. The the hell is wrong with them??! Even though I wasnt close to the family, I cried and cried when I heard the bad news. I can't even imagine how Drew, his mom, and his little sister must be feeling. There are no words to express my outrage over this senseless act. These could have been ANY of our family members in the victims' vehicle. So what will it take for the residents of this city of ours to actually DO something about all this violence? But then again, YOU have the most "censored" police dept. in the country with more oversight than any other city with the exception of Seattle or Cincinnati. I just discoverd that this is a friend of our family. I am devastated that this could happen to such a wonderful family. This was a father and his sons that this happend to. I won't mentioned any names, but this father from the Excelsior neighborhood grow up in this neighborhood and he was one of the last surviving Italian families from this neighborhood who was married to a latin women. The father was a great dad to his sons and such an easy going person. Always so pleasant and happy and very proud of his sons. This is sad that this has to happen to such a wonderful family. The earlier someone snitches, the more likely police can collect evidence such as GSR, weapons and witnesses. As time goes by it's much more difficult to get evidence for an arrest and conviction. Give bonuses to snitches who can provide hard evidence such as murder weapons. These skells aren't too bright, but they're smart enough to figure out how to be paid as a snitch. You'll have a line around the block of bangers wanting to turn their BFF.
