Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, married Jared Kushner on Sunday afternoon. The wedding took place at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and was said to be a very elegant affair. Trump and Kushner became engaged this past July, which didn't give Trump much time to plan her wedding! It sounds like it all went off without a hitch anyway.
Trump donned a Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly. There were 500 guests at the wedding, which included Regis Philbin, her father, his wife Melania, and her mother, Ivana. Trump has kept her followers on Twitter in the loop throughout the arduous process of planning the wedding, even going so far as to ask for music recommendations! The tweeting continued right up to this morning when Trump tweeted: "Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I'm getting married today!"
The couple are a busy pair. Kushner is the publisher of The New York Observer. He also owns and manages several commercial and apartment buildings in New York and New Jersey. Trump, who will also keep her last name for business purposes, is an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, has her own jewelry line, and recently published a book titled The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life.
