Grammy Awards 2010 winners - complete list - Below is a list of the performer/s, performance, song, and album winners of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Presented by the Recording Academy, the awards were televised on January 31, 2010 on CBS. There are actually 52 pages of Grammy Award nominees for all types of music and technical expertise categories. Even the major awards, given to high-profile artists for the most part, do not all make it to the 3-1/2 hour televised ceremony.

If you were disappointed in the awards ceremony because it seemed to focus on pop music almost exclusively and even then did not include all of the winners, read the listing below to find your favorite type of music or performance and see what artists, songs, and albums won in their categories.

Highlights of the ceremony itself, which took place in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, included performances by Lady Gaga and  Elton John, Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks, and an aerial performance by the singer, Pink. Perhaps the most memorable part of the night was a special 3-D tribute to Michael Jackson, who won a Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Jackson died unexpectedly in 2009 at the age of 50. His award was accepted by his 2 eldest children, Prince and Paris Jackson.

Singer Beyonce won a record-breaking number of Grammy Awards for a female performer, with 6.

sorry for the rock bands at the grammys who actually (make) music. Others use drum machines and 3-5 words repeated over and over (rap) Crap. What happened to good rap, where is Rakim, or KRS One, Chuck D. Man new rap and R&B is such garbage!

Kings of Leon Im sorry the only reason you won is because they can play your music on top 40 radio.

It was pretty much all downhill after the Elton John/Lady Gaga duet. And Kings of Leon getting a Grammy for such a crappy song, are you kidding me?

    Hi, Emma!

Thanks for reading and for your question. "Best Album" is for a recording of a collection of songs that all appear together on a CD/album. "Best Record" is for best recording (engineering, etc.) of a single song. "Best Song" is for the best song itself and is given to the songwriter. It can be confusing!

    Hope this helps! ~cak
