Chord Overstreet joins 'Glee' cast as Finn rival - MTV is reporting that Chord Overstreet of iCarly and No Ordinary Family will join the cast of the Fox hit show, Glee, this fall. The actor will play the role of Sam, a jock at McKinley High who begins as friends with Finn but later becomes his rival.
Besides iCarly and No Ordinary Family, Mr. Overstreet will appear in the film, Warrier, starring Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene of Twilight fame.
The report indicates that Chord Overstreet will guest star in Glee in Season 2 following a limited plot line, rather than join the permanent cast.
The actor's resume on IMDb lists his performance skills as "Voiceover, Singing;" his athletic skills as "Baseball, Martial Arts, Football, Soccer, Golf;" and his muical instruments as "Piano, Bass Guitar, Drums, and Guitar."
