Bikram Choudhury refuses Madonna's request for private yoga lessons

The hot news about hot yoga teacher Bikram Choudhury is that he has turned down Madonna’s request for private lessons.

"Madonna came to me and asked for private lessons. I told her that if you want to learn from me, then you have to come to my classes. You have to leave your ego behind," said Choudhury.

This comes after Madonna dumped her celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson, who also likes to work out her students in a hot room (80 degrees), and who reportedly asked Madonna to stop doing yoga because it made her look too veiny.

“I have completely changed Madonna’s body. I told her to forget everything she had been taught before and to give up yoga, which can make you look terribly veiny,” she was quoted as saying.

So will Madonna show up in class as do some of Bikram’s other celebrity students—Robin Quivers, George Clooney,  and Jim Carrey? Only time will tell.
