Harmonix has announced an additional 19 songs to be included in their highly anticipated Rock Band add-on, The Beatles: Rock Band. The new tracks bring the game’s total known tracks now to 44, meaning that there is just one more left to announce.
The precise reason for there being one undisclosed song remaining is not known, but Beatles fans everywhere are no doubt coming up with their own suggestions.
The new songs announced include:
“Boys”
“A Hard Day’s Night”
“I’m Looking Through You”
“If I Needed Someone”
“Ticket to Ride”
“Drive My Car”
”Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”
“Getting Better”
“Good Morning”
“Hello, Goodbye”
“Hey Bulldog”
“Dear Prudence”
“While My Guitar Gently Weeps”
“Helter Skelter”
“Something”
“Come Together”
“Don’t Let Me Down”
“I Want You (She’s So Heavy)”
“I Me Mine”
The Beatles: Rock Band is being built from the ground up and according to its developers will not be cross-compatible with existing Rock Band titles. The game will feature a few additions to gameplay not found in previous installments of the series, such as three-part vocals, unique specially designed character animations of the Fab Four, and highly detailed recreated historical venues such as the Ed Sullivan Theater and Cavern Club. All of these features are being held responsible for the compatibility issue.
One notable song still missing from the established track list is “Hey Jude”, so fans of that song still have hope for its inclusion. However, considering the legendary career of the band, the final mystery song could be any one from the number still missing.
In addition to 45 songs being available on-disc, additional content will be available for download, including the remaining songs from Abbey Road. Also songs from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Rubber Soul will be released for the game shortly after launch.
DLC is believed to include:
"All You Need Is Love"
"Maxwell's Silver Hammer"
"Oh! Darling"
"Because"
"You Never Give Me Your Money"
"Sun King"
"Mean Mr. Mustard"
"Polythene Pam"
"She Came in Through the Bathroom Window"
"Golden Slumbers"
"Carry That Weight"
"The End"
"Her Majesty"
"Fixing a Hole"
"She's Leaving Home"
"Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!"
"Within You Without You"
"When I'm Sixty-Four"
"Lovely Rita"
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)"
"A Day in the Life"
"Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)"
"You Won't See Me"
"Nowhere Man"
"Think for Yourself"
"The Word"
"Michelle"
"What Goes On"
"Girl"
"In My Life"
"Wait"
"Run for Your Life"
The Abbey Road songs will be available for an estimated $16.98 (1360 Points), and individual songs at $1.99 (160 Points).
So considering the 44 established songs, and the DLC songs, which songs are missing?

It's gotta be "She Loves You".
It was the second big hit in the US, and the one that truly put them on the map in the UK. It's not the most amazing guitar part in the history of history, but it's a great song nonetheless. And it's better than "Do You Want To Know A Secret".
Besides, both "Let It Be" and "Hey Jude" are centrally piano parts, not guitar.
Good one Tam, you might be right about that. "She Loves You" certainly is a good guess. Your right about the piano in those songs as well.
Of course "Help!" isn't in the list either, and I'm leaning in that direction myself, though I don't know how that one will play either. But "Help!" does sport a three track vocal arrangement (2 x John and 1 Paul) and it would work well with the new vocal options the game is offering. But you can say that about a lot of Beatles songs. It also a pretty popular track, though its not one of my personal favorites.
