ISNA 2009: screening of documentary 'New Muslim Cool'

If you missed PBS's national broadcast premiere of the documentary New Muslim Cool, here is your chance to see it.

New Muslim Cool will be screening at ISNA's Annual Convention in Washington, DC. on Saturday, July 4 at 7:00 PM. It will be followed by a Q & A session with producers, advisers, & characters.

In an earlier post, I reviewed the film: 'New Muslim Cool' documentary: moving, funny, inspiring. The film is great and has not been aired on all PBS stations, so try catching it at the convention.

Later that night, there will be a "4th of July JAM Session & BBQ", featuring The Kominas, M-Team and Amir Sulaiman.

M-Team is the rap group Hamza Perez, who is featured in New Muslim Cool, and his brother, Suliman formed.
