The book doesn't lie ... everybody poops, including reindeer.
So what do you do when life hands you reindeer poop? Why, make Christmas ornaments, of course!
According to a story in the Chicago Tribune, the Miller Park Zoo's gift shop in Downstate Bloomington, Ill., sells Christmas ornaments partly manufactured by reindeer.
Staff members create the decorations from the dried droppings of the zoo's two reindeer, Ealu and Rika.
Zoo marketing director Susie Ohley calls the creations "magical reindeer gem ornaments." Each comes with a label of authenticity and a price tag of $5.
Now that's going green.
