First there were snakes on a plane; now, snakes in a bedroom?
Out of Australia (where else?) comes the story of a woman who found 14 carpet pythons in her bedroom.
Esther Honegger of Fannie Bay, Northern Territories, thought she was having a nightmare when she started spotting snakes in her house.
Even her friends didn't believe her when she called with the news. (Esther might want to rethink her choices in mates.)
After she alerted police, she was told to contact the 24-hour snake hotline. Yes, there actually is such a thing.
A snake catcher wrangled seven of the young beauties, but that wasn't the end of Honegger's ordeal. After that, she found seven more and hopes that's all of them.
Perhaps Honegger didn't speak clearly when she placed an order for wall-to-wall carpeting.
