Art by Leinel Francis Yu

Yes, Disney bought Marvel, DC restructured into DC Entertainment, and Batman: Arkham Asylum became the first good video game for the character in forever, but don't let the big stories cause you to miss out on these items around the comic's world:

  • Pulse interviews actor Clancy Brown about returning as Lex Luthor in the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.  -  Not a quick throwaway Q and A either.  Some great commentary on working with Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy and what interests him about Lex.  Also check out the interview with another actor portraying a villain, John C. McGinley, who plays Metallo. A clip of his character in action is up at CBR.
  • IGN talks with writer Ed Brubaker about Captain America: Reborn which reaches issue #3 September 16th.  And artist Leinel Francis Yu takes you through his creative process for his variant for the issue here.
To purchase comics in the Orlando area, try Sci-Fi City, Coliseum of Comics, or Bad Apple Comics. In the Brevard area, try Islander Comics (Merritt Island) or Famous Faces and Funnies (Melbourne).  Use the Comics Shop Locator Service to find other shops in your area.
