X-Men art by Mark Brooks
  • For those of you interested in reading movie scripts, Warner Bros. has put The Dark Knight's script up for download as part of their promotion of the film for Oscars along with Clint Eastwood's upcoming Gran Torino.
  • Newsarama has an interview with writers Brett Matthews and Neil Turitz about their upcoming one shot The Lone Ranger & Tonto #2.  These specials are a change of pace from the ongoing series except for keeping the beautiful John Cassaday covers.
  • Witness the impressive craziness of trying to explain the history of the X-Men to a newcomer in a thorough piece for Comic Book Resources by Greg Hatcher.  I agree with his advice of picking your own favorite run here and there by various creators to be the X-Men in your mind.  As with any long running title, trying to explain the whole continuity and sound coherent is a challenge, but the X-Men stand as one of the more confusing franchises to keep straight.
