Kindall graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, with a B.A. in elementary education in 2003. She enjoys both research and writing as well as advocating for those who can not advocate for themselves. Kindall is the single mom of four kiddos of varying abilities between the ages of three and 11. She strongly believes that parents are not only their children's first and best teachers, but they are also their children's best advocate when it comes to having special needs met within the classroom.
