Welcome to Toddler Tuesday. This is your one-stop shop every Tuesday for all things toddler-related. This week, we look at TV viewing habits.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that toddlers be limited to no more than about an hour a day of TV viewing. They recommend NO television for those under two.
Good or bad, busy households use the television as a babysitter much more often than that. If that is where you are, consider some alternatives to traditional programing like an educational video.

While the television can never substitute for parental supervision and education, videos like this are ideal for times when you are helping older kids with homework or cooking dinner.
