The second annual visit of the Natural Products Expo East is in Boston this week and wellness practitioners are gearing up!

Last month the author had a chance to chat with Valerie Mata, owner of the Natural Food Exchange, who has been busy preparing for today's special event. Mata's store is one of three health food stores in the Boston area being featured on the Retail Store Tour today, Wednesday the 23rd. What a wonderful opportunity for both her store and participants!

Tonight's event features a dinner to benefit Farm Aid and then tomorrow morning the trade show begins. The trade show itself runs through Saturday and has a large green following.

None of the events are open to the general public but folks within the industry will be able to browse the over 1,300 manufacturers with booths of natural products sourced from around the world.
