Easy almond filling recipe for layered cakes

Here's a very simple recipe useful for filling layered cakes in a hurry.  It just does not get any easier.

Simple Almond Filling Recipe
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup almonds, finely chopped

Combine all ingrediends and beat until smooth.
