Exercises are essential in order to lose weight, get healthier and get in shape. There are ways where the equipments are affordable for anybody to get at any places that sells them. Especially if in person of buying them. The items where you needed to take them along will be essential to take since they help you stay in shape if you do some traveling. With these things in mind, here are what I recommend.
1. Exercise ball-also called swiss ball, pilates ball and stability ball. They come with a pump and some with dvd and a book that shows to do some of the ball exercise moves. You can either just leave it at home or just deflate the ball and take the ball and the pump with you. Not only are they great to workout with but also affordable to work out with anywhere no matter what.
2. Jump rope- This is not just old school but a great thing to do with all of those jumps. I personally love to jump and jumping had been shown to improve your bone more by putting pressure where everytime you jump, you decrease the chances of you getting osteoperosis.
3. Barbells- I suggest that you leave them at home but there is the alternative version where they are in a plastic shape barbell that you can fill it up with water. Empty it out after you are done working out. Can be stored in your bag and stuff.
4. Exercise band- Also call Resistance band. Use it in any kind of exercise where they can be used for doing stretch exercises as well. All they are are made of rubber and easy to stretch. One foot on top of one end and the other by holding it with both hands as one of the exercise movies. They can be wrapped one end on the door handle and they are easily packed into bag when needed. Can also do these moves in your hotel room.
5. Medicine ball- They are also called exercise ball, a med ball, or a fitness ball and they are usually weighed in between 2-25 pounds sold in stores such as sporting goods stores. They are somewhat weighted and I recommend to leave them at home for your own use. I even seen some ball which I have where you blow it up but it's as small as what medicine ball are. It is an alternative to the heavier one left at home.
6. Foam rolls and mat. Mat for you to lay on to do those floor exercises and the foam rolls are to cushion you with doing exercise moves like putting them under your neck or in between your legs.
7. Rebounder- Better left at home which it is a mini trampoline. I love to jump on trampoline and if you know someone that have it, ask if you can jump on it as well. Not only is it fun but great to exercise. I personally don't have one but would like to someday.
I hope that you do see that it is not necessary to purchase expensive equipment in order to workout at home or traveling which makes it harder. Using these equipment are doable and affordable so take advantage of it by going to your local sporting goods store or places such as marshall's that are pretty cheap to get. Until then, get on moving.
