Calendula is well known as a treatment for skin conditions -- it  helps with soothing pain, inflammation, and irritation.  It also has astringent properties that can help prevent infection, making it a good option for insect bites, as well as athlete's foot and diaper rash.

For more information about calendula, see your local herbal shop: Apothecary Tinctura in Denver, or Rebecca's Herbal Apothecary in Boulder.
