There are many stories of unrequited love or lovers who never reveal their true feelings for each other. Circumstances may prevent the two lovebirds from professing their love, such as working together. Like the hit TV Show, Bones, the two lovers might be co-workers who don't want to jeopardize their working relationship.

It’s clear to everyone that Booth, sexy FBI agent (former Angel from Buffy) and Bones, forensic logical-minded sexy bone doc, hence the nickname Bones, are in love.

So when the awaited confession from Booth, in last night's episode, that he loved Bones finally came, it was a major letdown because he quickly qualified it as an ‘Atta Girl Kind of Love’. Le sigh. Had Booth not been told that what he was feeling wasn't love but a brain malfunction due to his brain surgery, he'd probably have been qualifying his love for Bones on bended knee.

The season premiere revealed Booth living in a make believe world where he and Bones were married nightclub owners. This was every fan’s fantasy come true. Finally!

Still, the emotion couldn't be denied, even if Booth retracted it a bit.

The notion that love and romance can interfere with the smooth running of a work relationship is a valid concern, especially when the love affiar doesn't work out. If your relationship ends bitterly and the two of you must still work together, then your work life can become very complicated and unpleasant. Your job and even your career might suffer.

Changing jobs isn’t always an easy solution, especially in a recession. Regardless of the risks, most people can't deny love. Most people just give in to the tugging heartstrings and hope for the best. The old saying that the heart wants what the heart wants rings true, even for Booth and Bones. After all, the heart won’t be denied.
