Trinity: “I first started writing romance about seven years ago. I’ve been reading it for the past twenty five years. I actually started writing articles for newspapers, genealogy about twenty years ago.
Sally: That’s great experience, especially for learning to meet deadlines. I bet it fueled a lot of potential stories, too. What is it about the romance genre that appeals to you?
Trinity: “The escape from every day life, dreams that are long gone.”
Sally: “I think reading fiction is always such a wonderful way to relax from daily stress. Who would you say had the greatest influence on your writing?”
Trinity: “There are two parts for this, the first would be one of professors in college fifteen years ago, and he encouraged me to send in a couple of articles I wrote for genealogy purposes. The second would be two people – my critique partner Ava James and editor, Author Faith Bicknell-Brown. They believed in me and help polish my writing and they still are.”
Sally: “I understand you have a new book series. Can you share a little about it?”
Trinity: “I am currently working on a ménage series don’t know who I will submit it to. It has a little of everything, Fae, Witches, Shifters, and Trolls. I’m working on the title, but for right now it’s called Sierra’s Leopards: The Chameleon Trait Series.
Sally: “That sounds very interesting and gives you a lot of possibilities for books within the series. So tell us something few people know about you?”
Trinity: “When I first started writing romance I joined a critique group and posted my first chapter. Needless to say they were not very supportive; they told me that they wouldn’t use my chapter for a cat box. That was just one thing they said. Since then I’ve always wanted to create a group where authors could go to find support, research, any information they need in one place. I’m currently working on this group. I just started it three weeks ago and I’m very proud of it so far. I have a list of publishing houses, over 345 research links, agent lists, review sites, and many other things on this group. Right now I’m trying to get together a chat with all different editors from different Publishing houses so authors can ask questions and find out where they would like to submit their stories. The group is called Castle in the Sky: Flight Of Fantasy; it’s a yahoo group.”
Sally: “Oh that sounds like a great group. I’m sure readers will want to check it out. So tell us about your contribution to the anthology. What’s it about?”
Trinity: “My first contracted story, Tuesday’s Affair, is featured in the anthology, One Touch, One Glance, a Sweet Romance Anthology was just released today by Freya’s Bower. This is a contemporary story about a husband who accuses his wife of being unfaithful and having another man’s child. It’s about second chances, we all need them.”
Sally: “I'm a firm believer in second chances. It sounds like a great romance read. I'm sure readers will be interested in visiting your site to find out more about it.
