Sunday SportsBar Best for drinking cheap and often!!!

    There are many different reasons that I pick certain bars to go for on NFL Sunday.

   This suggestion I picked is for really one reason. The WINGS. They're banging!!! Off the hook!!! Look safely said I won''t be sharing any if its down to the last couple.

   This place would be Down the Hatchwww.nycbestbar.com/downthehatch/ convientely located off west 4th street between 6th and 7th Ave in the city.

   Its a small sports bar, but big time haven for young beer-pong playing early to mid 20's binge drinkers. Hey there's a market for that too!!! It has a foosball table,  several video games like Big Buck Hunter and golf. (Can't be cool nowadays if you don't add the Buck!!!) Of course there are 9 hdtv's splattered across the bar to keep up on all the games.

  Yea, yea but back to the real draws. On to the Food and drinks!!!!

  The wings. Yea Atomic wings is located inside of here. I don't think they're that hot as much as they are very tender and flavorful. Hey I've had wings at a lot of great places. I love the specials at Croxley Ales but if they're going to taste this great hell I'll pay more even if their slightly overpriced!!. (Last time I was there it was about $8.00 for 6-8 wings.)

  Now for the vibe. Think Animal House. If you went to college think of that local bar that catered to the in or just out of college crowd that was very wild. Well this would be it!!! (With a sometimes eeerily almost all white crowd, I digress though) Look they have a Wheel of Alcohol where you get 1/2 price pints and one extra drink special for wherever the wheel stops on Wednesdays. Catch my drift??!?!

   For weekend football there are $2 domestic pints, $3 domestic pints and $8 pitchers!! For a drinking age special of $21 per person its all you can eat and drink!!! Yea you heard it right. 

  Yes your right people are p*ssy drunk leaving out of here!!!! Hey they have great specials for Monday night football too and $1 drafts for all on Tuesday's night which is ladies night. Now you know why I call it the Animal house!!!!

   There are plenty of beers. Most drafts are Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Sam Adams, etc. All American hardstays. They do have more of an international selection on imports.

    If your into this wild scene, hell you'll love it. If your looking for something subtle, this ain't going to be your place.

   So let's rate it.

    Decor: Aiight. (Its a little dive bar. Can't hate it. Has some likeable qualities until you head to the bathroom)

   Drinks: On point. (Can't beat the specials!!! Have a full bar, don't expect fancy-smancy original cocktails though.)

  Food: Transcedent!!! They only do one thing, wings!!!! They do a damn good job. What else could I say!!!

  Vibe: Hit and miss (If your into the young binging your in their!!! Regular fans and fun lovers it depends on day and time.)

Overall: Worth checking out. Just decide when all the crazies won't be there or you'll join them too.
