New York City has such a variety of culture that can enrich the lives of our teenagers, but it can be so expensive to see most of it. That is where High 5 Tickets to the Arts comes in. This non-profit organization offers teens, ages 13 to 18, $5 tickets to the best of New York City dance, music, theater and visual arts events all year round.

A school I.D. is needed for the purchase of tickets. And, great news for parents, each teen can buy one extra ticket for $5 for an adult to accompany them if they so desire.  If you would like to take a group of your teens friends, you can use the group plan and get 5 teen tickets for $5 each and one free ticket for either an adult or a teen. Museum tickets are even cheaper, they are 2 for $5.

You don't even have to be from New York to use this program. It is open to any middle school or high school student from anywhere in the world. Does your teen love to write. There is a page on the High 5 Tickets to the Arts website where teens can submit reviews.
