Online information about the health of your pets just got a boost with the introduction of WebMD Healthy Pets. The new site features veterinarian-reviewed pet health and wellness information as well as tips on behavior and training.
WebMD reports that 75 percent of its audience is pet owners. The goal of the new site is to provide comprehensive pet care and medical information so that cat and dog guardians can take an active role in managing their pet's health and in turn reduce expenses.
On WebMD Healthy Pets, you’ll find cat and dog diet and nutrition information based on the pet’s age, activity level and health conditions; pet care advice including behavior and training tips, cat and dog medical symptoms and a lot more.
The site has videos and interactive slide shows on how to care for your pets and an online pet community led by a vet. You also can sign up for the new Healthy Pets online newsletter with health and behavior tips.
On the Healthy Pets cat page, you’ll find a range of information on health, spay/neuter, choosing a vet, microchipping plus top cat topics, such as night crazies, scratching furniture, socializing kittens, hairballs, vaccinations and more.
