When you think of American Apparel the brand known for "basics" is what comes to mind. This is one company that does every aspect of design, production and marketing all from its headquarters in LA. American Apparel has the largest garment factory in the US, during a time that most garment factories are located in other countries. This is one store that you will find all clothing that says "made in the USA". American Apparel is one of the fastest growing companies especially during 2008 where it grossed more than $545 million in sales. American Apparel does have a target customer, which would be a younger "hipster" crowd of mostly 20 somethings.
