Last night was a great time at Kevro's Art Bar - hopefully some of you were there too. The burlesque show ran for 4 hours with live music, comedy, dancing, drinking and lots of fun.  These girls really know how to shimmy, shake and move. I won a raffle (woo hoo!) and met some wonderful people.  If you didn't make it out, I hope you can come next month!

Make your weekend gossip-worthy with these great events:

November 21, 22 & 23

More than 30 vendors will feature orchid plants, supplies and garden arts & crafts items at the Fall Orchid and Craft Show.  Enjoy classes on everything from basic orchid growing to "how to decorate an orchid" and "orchid zen".  10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. $10. American Orchid Society Visitors Center and Botanical Garden 16700 AOS Lane, Delray Beach.

If I had to pick a place where I am happiest, on the top of my list would be at a carnival. I love everything about them - the thrill rides, the food, the games!  The best carnivals are in town this weekend (and for the month of November) although sadly neither are located in Palm Beach County.  Santa's Enchanted Forest is held in Miami-Dade County and boasts over 100 rides and games, shows and attractions and the world's largest Christmas tree.  www.santasenchantedforest.com.  There is also my personal fave. - The Broward County Fair. With more rides than ever plus activities, exhibits, pet pageants, eating contests and more, this year's fair is sure to be a success.  At the Fort Lauderdale Stadium - 1301 NW 55th St., Fort Lauderdale.  954-922-2224.

November 22

DaDa in Delray - 52 N. Swinton Ave. - is one of my favorite place in the whole world.  Fusik - an amazing soul and funk quartet - and one of my new favorite bands in the whole world -is playing there FOR FREE tonight.  Expect 70's style, old-school hip-hop, breaks and popping and locking music, and even a latin flair.  Their shows attract b-boys and b-girls so brush off your old moved, practice your robot and come party with me!  Call 561-330-3232 for times.

CityPlace in West Palm Beach (off Okeechobee Blvd., east of I-95) is holding a Party on the Plaza.  Enjoy a hot R&B performance by Stella featuring Dee Dee Wilde.  7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Although technically not Palm Beach County, Pompano Beach isn't too far away and Club Cinema - 3251 N. Federal Hwy - is a great venue for shows. Tonight features Canadian indie rock band Broken Social Scene.  For $22 you can see this amazing band.  All of their members play in various other groups and in solo projects and their shows are a mix of all their syles.  Identified as indie and "baroque pop" they are characterized by their grand orchestrations and rocker sensibilities.  9 p.m.

Back in Palm Beach County grab your tye dye shirts and head to Mizner Park Amphitheater to see Bob Weir and Ratdog play at 8 p.m.  The Grateful Dead guitarist and vocalist will create an evening to remember with classic songs and new hits.  590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton.

November 22 & 23

The Lake Worth Playhouse - 713 Lake Ave., Lake Worth - is presenting Just Buried, a Canadian comedy about a nerd who inherits a funeral home and discovers it is about to go bankrupt.  Rather than apply for a loan he and his embalming assistant go on a murder spree and profit on the cadavers.  Imagine sex, death and lots of laughs.  $8. Call 561-586-6410 or visit www.lakeworthplayhouse.org. The show runs until November 27.

November 23

One of the most anticipated fundraising events of the year, the Boca Museum of Art is presenting their 19th Annual Art Auction.  $150 per person at the Delray Beach Marriott off Atlantic Avenue and A1A.  Call 561-392-2500 for details.

Just a head's up:

*** A new club opened up on Clematis in West Palm Beach. It is called Monarchy and is owned by international renowned DJ Skribble.  I don't know when I am going to be able to head up there to check it out so if you go - let me know how it is!

Madonna is coming on Nov. 26 to the Bank Atlantic Center- get tickets while you can!

Also, tomorrow is the start of the Holiday Toy Drive presented by Delray Citizens for Delray Police Kids N' Cops program. Do something good for someone else this holiday season and drop off toys until Dec. 31 at any of the Delray Beach locations including all Fire Departments, Old School Square, Chamber of Commerce, Boston's on the Beach, Delray Beach Police Department, Lake Ida Pharmacy, Meisner Electric and Plastridge Insurance.
