Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell welcomed their twin girls, Dolly and Charlie, into Hollywood just a few days before the New Year.

Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip were born Dec 28. If you are like me, you're probably wondering how the couple came up with the names Dolly and Charlie.

Their pal Howard Stern actually made the first announcement of the twins’ arrival and explained the name choices on his Sirius radio show this past Monday.

"They had twin girls, Dolly and Charlie," Stern said. "Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named the one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry got to name the other one Charlie. His brother’s name is Charlie."

Uncle Charlie couldn’t be more proud of his brother’s name choice. He jokingly says, "The spelling is the same way that they spell my name, so if I get into trouble with credit one day, I can always use hers."

Congratulations to the new parents.

Here's a video the couple made poking fun at Romijn’s role as Mystique in the Xmen series.
