Following in the footsteps of Sean “P.Diddy” Combs who has a different moniker for every day of the week, Kanye West has changed his name. According to his blog, the “Heartless” star would like to be called Martin ‘Louis’ The King, Jr.
The rapper feels he was ‘forced’ to adopt the pseudonym following the launch of his new shoe collection for Louis Vuitton.
In a video message on his blog, West says: “Due to what has happened - what has happened so severely when the red shoes hit the runway, I was forced to change my name to Martin ‘Louis’ The King, Jr. Address me as such.”
In related West news, the rapper claims for the last time, he’s NOT planning a career in adult movies. In fact, he claims his Twitter, Gmail and Myspace accounts were also hacked.
The adult film rumor began last Tuesday when an anonymous post launched a thread with a false West interview on AllHipHop.com's online forums.
AVN, Adult Video News, picked up the juicy item and the internet wildfire began.
.
In the phony interview, West was quoted as saying he had a soft core adult film based on his new album, 808s & Heartbreaks, in the works.
"I know people will find that as another thing to hate me on, but f--k it. I'm open to doing porn," he was reported to have said. "Hell, I'll even do bisexual scenes. Myself, another man and a woman or just me and two women. I know people will find that as some weird s---t but I am who I am."
Although, AVN later apologized for running with the false story, to West the damage was already done.
"I can't believe the AVN would post (the story)," Kanye wrote. "Now somebody has been hacking into my MySpace and somebody's actually hacked into my personal Gmail account and has been emailing people from it."
"Hey world, I no longer have a Gmail! I found out I had twelve unauthorized Skype accounts under my name!!! This all in the past four days. Welcome to Kanye West world!"
The rapper adds, “Yo, why won’t you let me be great?” “I just gave the performance of my lifetime for our new president….Please, I beg you, give me a break! Just let me be great!”
Yes, Please leave Martin 'Louis' The King, Jr. alone.
