It's confirmed. The Washington Post is reporting that Tony Kornheiser, late of the "Monday Night Football" gang, will be returning to local radio in early September.
As we told you, Kornheiser will be hitting the airwaves on ESPN 980, Snyder-owned WTEM.
The show will launch on September 8th, the day after Labor Day and will no doubt benefit by the start of the football season.
No exact timeslot has been announced, but the show is slated for "late mornings" -- whatever that means. Korny could be up against either the Sports Junkies or the Mike Wise Show on 106.7 The Fan.
