Map of Arlington, Virginia, the focus of GoRemy's rap

Video clip of the day:  June 29, 2009.

So, it's been a rough week in the world of pop culture and we all need a little giggle.

Enter the locally viral sensation "Arlington: The Rap".

Posted by "GoRemy" on YouTube, "Arlington" is a tribute of sorts to the town we all know and love just over the border in Virginia.

GoRemy's bio says:

I moved to a new town a couple weeks ago. Clarendon. It's pretty tough.

Thank you to BJ and Q for their co-starring roles once again. And to the people of Arlington who I ran into (literally and figuratively) in the process of filming. Oh yes, and thanks to Ally the dog!

It's fun to support local artists and to foster more stuff like this on the web!  Check out GoRemy's website.

Who knew we had so many dudes in brown flip flops and Starbucks?  Ok, so we have a lot of Starbucks in this metropolitan area.

For more info: Loss was repeated in pop culture three times this week:  Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Ed McMahon
