The Spelling in question is Tori... not Aaron. Sadly the folks at the CW haven't figured out how to bring the uber-producer back from the dead.
Still, we think the news of his daughter Tori's return to her old zip code will bring a little of the spirit of Aaron back to the nighttime sudser.
For months now, we've been hearing rumors about the potential return of Donna Martin Silver. Now, multiple outlets are reporting that author and reality star Tori Spelling is in the final negotiations with producers to return to "90210."
Look for Donna... er Tori... in the 19th episode this season. Her storyline has not yet been confirmed.
Scuttlebutt is that Jason Priestly is coming back to Beverly Hills High too. Unfortunately, Brandon Walsh will be behind the camera... Alum Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth have already appeared in several episodes of the latest incarnation.
Coupled with "Gossip Girl", "90210" represents a renaissance of sorts for the CW, long considered the red-headed stepchild of network television. The CW -- smartly -- is developing more stuff to appeal to the "90210" crowd, notably a retread of "Melrose Place."
We told you months ago about the talks going on behind closed doors at the net about "Melrose" plans. Now we've got new stuff to report!
Amanda Woodward Blake Parezi McBride Burns is in talks to join the cast of the new "Melrose Place". That's right, Heather Locklear could be returning to her old address. And we're loving every minute of it! Reports are that the CW is heavily wooing her as a foundation builder for the new series.
Our mind is racing with potential storylines and we hope the new series won't disappoint us old school fans!
