Finally, we heard from Rihanna about that brutal Grammy weekend incident with then-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Rihanna sat down with Diane Sawyer on "20/20" this weekend. While some snippets leaked on "Good Morning America" the full chat was so much more interesting.
Rihanna talked about how Chris Brown was her "first big love." And how she "hated" him following the incident. She also spoke of understanding how many women went through what she went through and she even touched on how her sponsors were concerned about her actions following the incident. Perhaps most poignantly, Rihanna said to forget love (in much less nice words). A sad and immense statement for a woman in her early 20s, but that ought to tell you what she's gone through.
In the end, it seemed for the first time that she was an empowered victim and it's about time.
She also looked great and has a new album "Rated R" coming out.
You can check out her singles: "Russian Roulette," "Wait Your Turn" and "Hard."
