Georgia authorities arrested Katt Williams late last night on allegations of burglary. The well-known comedian is best known for his raucus stand-up specials on HBO and Comedy Central and some bit parts in movies.
Williams was charged with the aforementioned burglary and trespassing in an incident where police say he used a crowbar to break into a private residence.
Coweta County authorities say that Williams' bail is set at $41,000. In the past, he has faced weapons charges. He is currently on probation for a 2006 incident at an LA airport.
Late today, a 911 call surfaced and was reported on several websites, including TMZ. The call is reportedly made by a 17-year-old who says that Williams is holding him against his will, may be armed and is preventing him from catching a scheduled flight.
