Remember:  every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.

Ready or not, here it comes.

The holidays have arrived, whether you've bought that Jennifer Aniston tie or not.  Today is the first night of Hannukah, shopping chaos is in full swing and Christmas is just hours away.  (A lot of hours, but just hours nonetheless.)

For those of you all prepared and ready to go, it's the perfect time to chill out to some holiday television.

For those of you not prepared, you are probably a procrastinator extraordinaire and what will a little TV do to your already chaotic holiday week schedule?

We've been scouring the internets for an awesome grid guide for you for this week, but the world wide web is woefully unprepared for the upcoming week o' holiday.

Our go-to guide at AOL mysteriously cuts off on December 20th.

We found this one at the OC Register online.  It seems like it's incomplete, but we've cut and paste the good stuff for you here.

Dec. 21

"A Christmas Proposal"(9 p.m., Lifetime) – Old friends find romance and conflict in a struggle over a small ski town. Nicole Eggert, Tom Arnold, David O'Donnell, Sarah Thompson.

"Nightmare Before Christmas"(2:30 a.m., TBS) – Tim Burton's vividly animated comic-horror story about stealing Christmas.

"White Christmas"(6 p.m., ABC Family) – Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney in the holiday story of former soldiers trying to save their commander's Vermont Inn. Includes the song "White Christmas."

"Babes in Toyland"(8 p.m., My Network TV, Channel 55) – Drew Barrymore and Keanu Reeves in the story of a little girl who must save Toyland.

"Home for the Holidays with Faith Hill"(8 p.m., CBS) – Inspirational stories about adoption from Faith Hill, Melissa Etheridge, Tim McGraw, Gavin Rossdale, Jamie Foxx, Kristin Chenoweth, Patricia Heaton, Rene Russo, Martin Short.

"A Christmas Story"(Repeated for 24 hours beginning at 8 p.m., TBS) – Jean Shepherd's nostalgic Christmas story based on a burning desire for a Red Ryder BB gun. Stars Peter Billingsley, Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin.

"It's a Wonderful Life"(8 p.m. NBC) – Take another trip to Bedford Falls.

We found another one at TV Guide's website.  At least it's all nicely laid out over a calendar-like format for you.

Here's the crux of it all.  If you turn on a TV this week, you are likely to fall into a Christmas special or two.  We recommend our two favorites as appointment viewing.  Nothing gets us in the mood for the big day quite like "It's A Wonderful Life" on NBC (Channel 4 locally) on Christmas Eve.  Tuning into "A Christmas Story" on TBS at any point during the 24-hour marathon is always a winner.

But, don't watch too much TV this week whatever you do -- even if you are triple dog dared.  Enjoy family and friends and the spirit of the whole sh-bang.  And if you are Jewish, Happy Hannukah tonight!
