Canceled or not?  Who knows...

To paraphrase Samuel Clemens...  rumors of its death have been greatly exaggerated.  Apparently.

Brooke Shields, star of the television drama "Lipstick Jungle", told everyone that would listen at a charity event in New York City on Sunday that her ailing television show has not been canned quite yet.

The messages are mixed to say the least.  We told you last week how NBC has not ordered any more episodes of "Lipstick" or the Christian Slater-helmed "My Own Worst Enemy".

Shields fessed that "Enemy" is gone but says that no one is breaking down sets or halting production on their "Jungle."

I think it may just be a matter of time.  Shields insists the DVR ratings are number one.  Do you watch?
