Like him or hate him, it is hard to avoid Bill O'Reilly.
As Brit Hume phases out of his role at Fox News wandering into retirement, it seems more and more O'Reilly has become the face of the "We Report, You Decide" cable newser.
Late last month, O'Reilly signed up for four more years at FNC. The contract helped Rupert Murdoch's net to solidify its all-star line-up. Fox's newest star, Glenn Beck, was poached from rival CNN's Headline News earlier in October.
When the net had a beef with the Neilsen ratings, it was O'Reilly who spoke up as the voice for Fox News Channel.
Lastly, let's all remember that it is likely O'Reilly who will benefit the most from the election of Barack Obama.
To quote the man himself...
"We are going to be the watchdogs. We don't know what Obama is going to do. It's my job to explain every move he makes, but I'm not going to nitpick him."
Essentially, he and Keith Olbermann are switching their roles.
Billy Boy has been everywhere. He's made appearances on all the talk shows hawking his latest book called "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity." But, if you like him (and even if you don't) you should check out his appearance on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" here. It's one of the more insightful chats and definitely more entertaining... (Mr. Snuggles takes it for me.) For one thing, O'Reilly and Stewart can keep each other on their toes. Somewhere in the middle is the middle.
Check out part two with Stephen Colbert's Papa Bear -- the anarchist (wink wink) -- here.
