Missing "24"? Who can blame you? You haven't seen a new episode since the Spring of 2007!
No worries. Your favorite spy-caper show with the dink dink and ticking is on its way back to the small screen.
If you're a big fan you already know about the two-hour prequel Fox has slated for Thanksgiving week.
It's an unusual move to say the least and a way to generate excitement for the January roll out of the new season. Because its an "event" and will occur around the holidays, it's giving Fox television an unusual opportunity.
Advertising Age reports that Keifer Sutherland's show is raking in the dough. They are calling Sutherland's character Bauer the "half-million dollar man" because companies are paying between $500,000 and $600,000 for a 30-second ad during the November prequel.
The gobs of cash it is pulling in puts "24" among television's elite. It will rank higher in advertising dollars than NBC's "Sunday Night Football" and ABC's "Grey's Anatomy".
Catch the mondo-expensive ads on November 23 when the Africa-set prequel to the seventh season of "24" airs on Fox.
