August is National Inventors’ Month and what better way to celebrate than to get the kids working on some right-brain activity. In Obama’s radio address yesterday, he said, “The spirit of innovation is key to the future.” And, how do we get the future, aka our children, to start thinking about innovation? One step is to get their creative gears turning with some fantastic, creative activity kits. And, we all know that our children are more likely to participate in an activity if we, their parents and grandparents, share in the project. So, roll up your sleeves and dig into some fun right-brain toys.
Here are just a few toys and activity kits that will get their gears going:

Very well-made kit with so much creative play it will keep their interest for years.
LEGO Inventor Set: Motion Madness by LEGO

Age: 7-99 but I think that if you are over 99 years old they may let you play with it.
