The word on the street is that many stores are sold out of this toy and there are long lines at stores as the delivery truck pulls up. Looks like a few children won’t be getting Zhu Zhu Hamsters for Christmas.
A few sage comments about Christmas presents from Santa:
If your child’s wish list is three miles long, make child pick out one top toy that they are really wishing for. If the number one toy is the Zhu Zhu hamster and you know Santa can’t keep up with the production, explain this to your child. Yes, Psych 101 comes in handy when explaining Santa’s busy schedule and the millions of children who have just one present on their list.
Santa can give out IOUs. The North Pole has a special deal with FedEx and UPS where Santa leaves an IOU for one toy. (Do not pay expedited overnight shipping to get toy to your house on Christmas Eve. Boxing Day is also a great delivery day.)
Try to have your child focus on the giving and not the getting.
Check out the Zhu Zhu Video. Now, those are cute.
