There aren’t that many entries into the live action talking animal genre. And there are even fewer that would be considered good. When this type of movie is brought up, the movie Babe automatically pops into my head. A kid movie that doesn’t insult an adult audience is quite difficult to accomplish, but Babe does it. Now thirteen years later Beverly Hills Chihuahua has hit screens. In its opening weekend it has already made about $30 million. And it has quite an impressive cast; Jamie Lee Curtis, Andy Garcia, Drew Barrymore, and so on. Will kids or adults still voluntarily watch this movie several years from now, or will this movie dissolve away never to be talked about ever again?
