Give it back Jon! Tuesday morning, Pennsylvania Judge Arthur Tilson met the couple privately in the judge’s quarters, where he ordered Jon Gosselin to return the $180,000 he took from the joint account. He also requested that Kate provide an accounting of past expenses by the next court appearance on Oct. 26.
Kate is accusing Jon of withdrawing $230,000 from their join saivings account with out first consulting her, leaving her with only $1,000 and unable to pay their bills. Not to be outdone, Jon claims that the withdrawals were inappropriate, but at least he’s not denying that he didn’t do it, and he wants Kate to account for more than $60,000 in withdrawals of her own.
RadarOnline.com reported that the judge had scolded the couple who arrived seperately and with their own attorneys, to work it out amicably, additionally an arbitrator has been appointed by the court to keep them from bickering and solve their differences.
The judge made it clear to both Jon and Kate that their next appearance in court scheduled for Oct. 26, would be made public despite their desire to keep it private.
Sounds like this judge isn’t playing around with dishing out the requests of the court, he even sounds like an upset parent who’s had enough of ill-behaved kids.
The way I see it, if anyone can put these two in their place, making them realize the damage that is being done to their kids and how the media frenzy won’t quit till they stop, no one can.
Why do they insist in fighting in front of the world? Is it to draw more viewers?
