It’s been confirmed, Jude Law after an admittedly one night fling with model Samantha Burke 24, the DNA tests conclude that he is indeed the father. Baby Sophia was born Sept. 22nd.
In view of the confirmed fatherhood, Jude has reportedly apologized to his family, trying to reassure them that this won’t affect their relationship. A source reveals that “He told Sadie (ex-wife) that he only slept with her once. But now he has confirmed to her and his children that the child is his.”
Of course with the DNA confirmation, now comes the financial obligation. It is estimated that he will have to pay more than $3.1 million dollars, worrying ex-wife Sadie that the news is upsetting to the 3 children they have together, additionally a source revealed that “Sadie is livid. She feels that he has put unnecessary pressure and upset on to the children and has put himself under financial strain, which impinges on their life.’
A spokesperson for Sadie said that she was informed and aware of the DNA results, but refuses to comment on it. She simply said, “We don’t discuss this. We consider it an entirely private matter.” Although the couple divorced six years ago, they maintain a close friendship.
Speculations be what they may, it be difficult to learn that a one night fling can alter and change the course of your life forever, I’m sure the feeling of ‘being used’ for his star status has crossed his mind.
Regardless, the Hamlet star will do the right thing, as he said from the very beginning. Sources close to him say he is an amazing dad to his kids, and an incredibly gentle man, if anything this little girl is lucky to have been born to such a warm and caring father of a man.
