Five films in the Atlanta area you won’t want to miss this weekend (plus a bonus Halloween selection), with preference given to newer releases and one-time screenings

1) Rachel Getting Married—When Kym (Anne Hathaway) returns to the Buchman family home for the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie Dewitt), she brings a long history of personal crisis, family conflict and tragedy along with her. Directed by Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs), reviews have been excellent, and Hathaway is considered a near-lock for a Best Actress nomination.

2) Changeling—The prayers of Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) are met when her kidnapped son is returned. But amidst the frenzy of the photo-op reunion, she realizes the child is not hers. Directed by Clint Eastwood and co-starring John Malkovich, the film—based on a true story from 1928 Los Angeles—has received mixed reviews, but some critics have hailed it one of Eastwood’s best.

The 1972 Best Pic winner is one of the most frightening and disturbing films ever.
