It's been days since the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz in the first round of the playoffs, and it's already happening.
The palms are getting sweaty, the mouth is getting dry, and you wake up with night terrors of Andrew Bynum writhing in pain on the floor of the FedEx Forum.
That's right, you're suffering from Lakers withdrawal.
And the bad news is, no matter what happens in the game tonight between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets, the Lakers won't get on the court again until Monday.
Luckily, I am here to serve you. I have scoured the internet and compiled a list of ways to get your Lakers fix during this miserable down time. Enjoy.
1. Mark Madsen dancing - this classic clip will not only provide some much needed laughs, but will also help you remember the feeling of winning an NBA championship.
2. Lakers top 10 plays of the first half of the season - some kind soul uploaded this HD video to YouTube. Showtime is back baby!
3. NBA 50 Greatest quiz - the great site, sporcle.com, has numerous sports-related quizzes you can take. Since there are several Lakers on the 50 Greatest list, I figured it would be another good way to get your Laker fix. Good luck.
4. Greatest Lakers teams of all time - the OC Register had a competition earlier this year to figure out which Lakers team is the best of all time. Follow it from this link all the way to the end to see if you agree. Hopefully at the end of this season they'll have another team to consider.
5. Lakers Quiz - how well do you know the Lakers? The OC Register comes through again with a way to find out.
6. Magic Johnson, Greatest PG of All Time - another quality mixtape from YouTube. Sit in awe at the miracle that is Magic Johnson.
Well hopefully that will get you through the first hour of work. If that's not enough, feel free to scroll through my previous articles. I mean...they're pretty good.
