After a two-week long process that involved a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, you have decided that Andrew Bynum's OFFICIAL nickname is....Bynumite.

I couldn't be happier with the nickname (though my vote went to Mountain Drew). This is exactly what I was looking for when I started the contest, so I thank those of you that suggested names and voted.

The voting results were as follows:

1. Bynumite, 40.86%
2. Mountain Drew, 21.09%
3. A-Bomb, 19.03%
4. Bynusaur, 11.06%
5. The Brute, 7.96%

As you can see, it was more of a landslide than I expected, but with close to 700 votes we got a pretty good sense of what people were thinking.

So Bynumite it is. I will thoroughly embrace this nickname, and I expect you to do the same. I suggest practicing over the next couple of days to get used to it. Here are a couple sample sentences that you can repeat until it becomes second nature:

• Nobody comes into Bynumite's house and leaves unharmed.
• Bynumite's mini-fro is the source of his power.
• Kobe passes it to Andrew in the lane...and boom goes the Bynumite.
• Bynumite! (exclaimed after a thunderous dunk or ferocious blocked shot, in the voice of J.J. from Good Times. If you're not sure how that sounds, see below.)
